Simply put… No. Far from it.
Let me ask you a question:
If you discover God has placed you here on earth to feed hungry people…
…would feeding people be easier or harder if you had extra money to buy the food?
(Answer: Easier)
If God’s purpose for your life involves teaching poor children to read and learn the Bible…
…would reaching more children, hiring teachers, and buying bibles be easier or harder if you had additional income?
(Answer: Easier)
Or, if you just want to spend more time reading scripture, and strengthening your relationship with the Lord…
…would taking time away from work be easier or harder with more financial blessings?
(Answer: Easier)
And, if you simply want to worry less about the future, and provide better for your family. Yes, the Lord wants that too.

Many of us have been confused about the subject of money and if it’s “right” for Christians to seek wealth.
Just remember the Bible says the “love of money” is evil...
Not the having of money.
If we make money our God, that’s when we run into trouble.
